New in 1.10: Beam web openings
EuroBeam 1.10, released 23 December 2011, adds beam web opening checking, based on the latest SCI publication P355 Design of Composite Beams with Large Web openings, and if you are going to use this option you are strongly advised to obtain a copy. The routine works in a very similar to the beam web opening checking in ProSteel (based on Design for openings in the webs of composite beams, CIRIA Special Publication 51), but there are a few differences:
- There are explicit options for circular and elongated circle openings, rather than them needed to be entered as equivalent rectangles.

- A small diagram at the top of the printout shows the positions of the openings.

- The rules re size and positioning of openings have changed slightly from previous SCI guidance
- The treatment of stiffened openings has changed slightly - previously stiffeners were ignored when calculating the axial capacity of the top and bottom tees (which determine the moment resistance at the opening)
